Here at Augmented Intelligence Academy we strive to innovate education and promote learning in an engaging and productive way for youth. That is why we are proud to announce our first independent virtual program focused on teaching Adobe Photoshop. This course was designed and is taught by experienced instructors with our company who have created lessons based on their experiences teaching and their own learning journeys with Photoshop. This is why we are focusing on a project-centered curriculum which allows students to develop their skills in, a passion for, and a marketable portfolio with Adobe Photoshop. While we offer certifications and by the end of the six month course students should be test ready, our curriculum is not focused on the exam. Unlike most schools, we do not instruct using test preparation softwares but instead focus on tailoring the curriculum to find and expand on each student’s existing strengths and interests so by the end of our program they will not only have the skills they need to use Photoshop professionally but also the passion to continue developing their skill. Classes:
Classes are one hour, twice a week and are restricted to 5 students per instructor. This ensures that students have enough peers to work collaboratively and be social while still receiving individualized instruction. This course is offered on a monthly basis, as a 3 month course, and as a 6 month course. No matter which duration you child is enrolled for, they will have gained basic design skills and have a portfolio of work with the skills to continue building the portfolio. By the end of the 6 month course students should be able to pass the Adobe Photoshop Professional certification exam. Classes will be held over video call.

What happens when my child completes this course? Will there be a certification?
We do offer testing at the end of the course for the Adobe Certified Professional certification and at the end of the six month program students should be test ready.
How will this knowledge help my child?
Having knowledge in Photoshop and digital design increases job opportunities, hireability, and makes your child proficient in the industry standard digital design software.
Does my child need to be a specific age to be able to understand the program?
While there is no age limit and children and adolescents of all ages can join, Photoshop is a complex software created for design professionals which is why our recommended age is for students ages 13 and up.
Will the classes be in person, hybrid, or online?
Our course is offered entirely remotely.
How many students will be in a class?
Class sizes contain a maximum of 5 students per class to allow for peer feedback and social connections while being able to receive individualized support.
Does my child need to live in Miami to participate?
No, students from anywhere can join.
Will there be homework?
Students will be working on large design projects during the course which they will be given time in class to work on. While they are allowed to work on their projects outside of class time, this is not required.
